I just received this email from Rick and I wanted to share it here: A couple of weeks ago I did a tutorial that showed how to use the new Open Closed Eyes feature that was added to Photoshop Elements 2018. You can also manually open closed eyes using any version of Photoshop Elements. And I just posted a new tutorial that shows exactly how to do it. Here's the link: Manually Open Closed Eyes.As usual there's both a video and a written version of the tutorial. I hope you find it helpful. Take care! Rick Enjoy! Charles

First, thanks for a very thorough and easy to follow video. I once had a lady who could always get her eyes closed before the shutter opened, no matter how many ways and times I tried to trick her! I could have used a second person with another camera!! LOL! I think you may want to edit your link. Looks like the forum software is 'playing' with the link you intended. Currently, your link goes to a basically empty page saying "It works". Last time I saw that kind of page was when checking to see of Apache was installed properly on my Mac. I got to your page by copying your url after the embedded 'redirection' link, in other words: www.essential-photoshop-elements.com/manually-open-closed-eyes.html Even the line above is interpreted as a url link and shown in red text! If I ever post a link here, i'll have to remember to use the code or the pre tags... Notice that posted link actually has http %3A//www... Somewhere, the 'colon' appears to have been replaced by the ASCII hex value. Did you use the "Link" button in the forum's Post Editor? testing: 1. manually-open-closed-eyes2. Manually Open Closed EyesLooks like this forum software forces the url to include the redirect.viglink.com/?key=bbb516d91daee20498798694a42dd559&u=http%3A Or I must be doing something rong! http://redirect.viglink.com/?key=bbb516d91daee20498798694a42dd559&u=http%3A//www.essential...

Looks like this forum software forces the url to include the redirect.viglink.com/ Hi, thanks for being curious and vigilant! However, technically, it is not this forum, but the host of the forum that causes the redirect. Here is a thread that discusses what is going on: VigLinkFYI: the posted link works fine for me.

Thanks for the link, which worked! Unfortunately, the link in the email I got from the forum, supposedly referring me to this thread, simply went to the "It works!" page. :wallbash: Since the link to another thread at the forum, it appears to work fine that way. If the link is to a different domain, it seems to go through the VigLink servers. Tha's my guess, anyway. My first guess was that it could be my VPN software causing problems, a site that uses a users IP address may 'balk' when they come in through a totally different IP value. Hoo nose?!

Xair, I am sorry you had problems with my link, but it sounds lie it may have been because of what Tpgettys was talking about? (I do not understand all that computer geek stuff!) Your three links works the same as my single link, and yes I do use the url link device in the forum software. Tp, Thanks for letting me know my link works fine for you!

..... My first guess was that it could be my VPN software causing problems, a site that uses a users IP address may 'balk' when they come in through a totally different IP value. Hoo nose?! Hi xairbusdriver, I wouldn't have thought so. When you click on a link to a web page, the web page server sends the html for the page back to the requesting ip address, and that's it as far as the web page's server is concerned. Its job is done. The web server, as far as I am aware, doesn't know if the requesting ip address was the user's actual ip address or the ip address of a VPN server. If the requesting ip address is a VPN server, the VPN server then sends the html it received from the web page's server to the ip address of the user who clicked the link and is currently connected to the VPN server. The web page's server has no idea the VPN server it sent the html to then sent the html to the user who clicked the link in the first place.
