Flickr began to upload my iPhone pictures. I found a way to delete them.. I thought. Well to make it short.. I deleted all my pictures on Flickr. It will cause some broken links, and I'm very sorry for the mess. I will upload pictures again, it will be a new start.

Marianne - I sympathise with you on this.
I find it infuriating when things like that happen.
My favourite trick is to compose a fairly lengthy forum post and then somehow delete it without sending it. And I don't always have the mental energy to do it all again :-[ :-X

I have done that many times when writing posts or emails, nowadays if I write anything more than a few lines I select and copy all my text before I do any editing so thats its saved on the clipboard. Useful if you need to go back to another post to check on something you are answering. That way, if you do lose it you can just paste into a new post and continue.

Yes, it's a good tips to copy before you post. Sadly that doesn't help when you deleted more than 1000 pictures.

Thanks for posting that; many is the time that such forethought would have saved me a lot of grief.
Where we live, almost daily, the wind will whip up to cyclone force and the rain will come down in buckets.
When it gets thus, we often temporarily lose satellite signal.
Usually, after meticulously typing a very involved message, I will hit "submit" precisely at the moment that the signal is lost; needless to say, my message always gets lost.
This loss of signal is also very convenient when something I really want on E-bay is right down to the wire and I decide to add a few dollars to my maximum bid......oh well.

It's sort of like putting toothpaste back into the tube.
Most of my computer adventures would be better left undone; what you did is minor compared to some of my blunders.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, but glad I'm not alone in the "blunder world".
