Oh Bayla, I'm so sorry you've missed it. It was at the lower price for over a week. What happened? Did you not see the post? It just went up yesterday or day before. With these price drops, you have to go for it quickly as there is no knowing how long it will be at that price. For some reason I tend to keep an eye on the price, maybe just curiosity. So, if it drops again, I'll post again and I'll try to send you a PM so you don't miss it. Julie

Julie,
Thanks. I saw your post, took a look and then got sidetracked and completely forgot about it until this morning!
In the past I've found the cheapest way to get my copies of PSE is to buy online in the USA & pick them up when I've gone to visit my daughter who lives there.

There has to be something to make up for the fact that I don't see her and her family as often as I would like Bayla

Yes, always Pros and Cons to a situation Just have to try to get the balance right, I suppose I appreciate it must be hard when close family is so far away. I've never been in that situation. Fortunately, the world is a smaller place nowadays, and things such as Skype must help. It's a good excuse for you to go over there as often as you can, eh? J

Just got an email - it's come down in price again to £44.99, not quite as good as when you first posted though.

Yes, I noticed that just a short time ago. However, PSE AND Premiere 13 have also dropped - currently at £54.99

I believe reduced prices for Elements 13 as well as Premiere Elements 13 will be a very common event from now on. If Adobe sticks to its schedule, Elements/Premiere Elements 13 will be released in mid-September (week of September 20?).

The question is....do I buy now or will the price drop again? Bayla Maybe wait and get v14? I've got v11, v12, didn't feel inclined to get v13 as didn't feel there was enough to tempt me, so waiting to see what v14 will offer. Then, I will wait until there is a price drop

The question is....do I buy now or will the price drop again? Bayla I am afraid only someone with "inside information" from the retailers would be able to give you a definite answer. However, throughout the years this has been the norm -- prices will begin dropping around June all the way to just before the release of new version. It makes sense. The retailers need to get rid of their current stock to make room for the new version.

I have 11 - I might go for 14 although I don't use PSE as much as I used to. But still - it's fun to get the new version and 'play'
