Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with this site today. I am finding it so slow to load compared to usual and if I try to refresh a screen that's it away for another wee while before it comes up again.

Lillias....seems to be working fine for me. Have you tried restarting your computer? I will often resort to doing that when things become unbearably slow.

I may have to try that Helen. Other sites are working fine though. The thing is it seems to be happening in fits and starts. Just now it's working fine, queer or what or maybe it's another case of just computers...Anyway we will see what tomorrow brings as I am just about to go to bed. Thanks for responding.

Uhm, I seem to good. Just had a look at various threads and didn't have any probs. But having said that I do, on the odd occasion, find that the site can be sluggish for reasons that are beyond me. But 99.9% of the time it is fine.

Hi BillieJean, This site and the www is working ok for me as well atm. Maybe your computer was running some process (downloading an OS or ant-virus update, routine maintenance etc) in the background which slows your computer. |

I suppose that's always possible bailey although I checked the Windows Updates and I was all up to date and nothing was happening there as far as I could tell. Anyway it seems to be back to normal this morning so all good but thanks for your suggestions.

We can all be assured this is not anything having to do with our computers (operating systems, antivirus software, routine maintenance, etc). About one hour ago ProBoards Support acknowledged they were having problems with log-in/access to forums and slow-loading forums. They have just announced these problems have been fixed. Kudos to ProBoards!

I tried to get on this afternoon. It wouldn't load the log in page.
