I just installed the PanosFX action "interweaving strips" into the "guided edit" "actions" of my Elements 7.
I am having trouble getting it to work.
I know it says compatible with Elements 11, 12, 13; but, I have used several of Panos other E-11/12/13 actions in Elements 7 and they have worked slick as a ribbon.
When I choose the action and click "Play Action", a small square with "openings" covers the upper left corner of the image and a box appears that tells me to define a square crop on my image, the openings are to let me know where the openings in the weave will be.
Try as I may, I cannot get the little square to move, nor anything else to cooperate; I have gotten this far on several attempts and choosing different weave options, and cannot get that crop square to do anything.
Then, I clicked on the little magnifying glass and immediately a background is added to my image, the same color as whatever background color happens to be active in "full edit"
Along with this background, a box appears telling me some function or other is not working, with the choices to "continue" or "cancel"(was it???)
I clicked "continue" and got another similarly worded box, clicked "continue" and got yet another box, and again, and then it appeared to have finished whatever it was doing; I clicked "done" and then "full", and ended back in full edit with a transparent image covered with little squares and several blank transparent layers.
I believe this action would work if I could figure out how to get it's crop tool to work.
Somebody please help.
