If you have Photoshop (the full version) or Elements 13 or higher along with Elements+, you can use the link below to download Color Lookup Tables to color grade your images to give them a different look. Using a blend mode of Soft Light, Color or Luminosity works well but feel free to season to taste. Have Fun! www.dropbox.com/s/9q1gnkissbt1uub/Creative%20LUTs.zip?dl=0

Thanks Frank. I downloaded them and tried "reptile" on this image at a reduced opacity. You can see the difference better on my desktop. It definitely darkened the fence and the house. Before: After: I have only figured out how to load them temporarily on my Mac.

whippet recently asked about creating specific colors using the color swatch. Coincidently, I received this information about color combinations yesterday from Shutterstock. I thought it might be of interest to our members when working on creative projects. Lucky that you remembered my post. Thank you very much, Helen.

I have only figured out how to load them temporarily on my Mac. I have no idea how to install them on a Mac. For Windows users, the files get installed in . . .
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

Helen if you want them to be in the drop down menu, use this link to down load the CUBE files. www.dropbox.com/s/9q1gnkissbt1uub/Creative%20LUTs.zip?dl=0They get copied/placed in Applications>Adobe Photoshop CC 2018>Presets>3DLUTs on a MAC. They will then show up in the drop down of the 3DLUT File Hope this helps and thanks for trying them!

I installed the CUBE files in the appropriate folder (Windows) and they are not showing up in the dropdown menu.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2018\Presets\3DLUTs
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the ICC files are working just fine; they are showing up in the dropdown menu. I installed them in . . .
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color

Sepiana, I am using a MAC and so is Helen (I am sure they work for her), this may one of the things that works different on Windows. When I created the LUTs, I created both ICC and CUBE formatted files on a MAC. I did have to sign in as the administrator to load them. I know the LUT drop down has more on a MAC then a PC. Could I ask the you apply two ICC to an image with different blend modes on both. Put both of the Color look up layer in a folder and make sure you have a background layer. Go to File>Export>color lookup and same as a CUBE and ICC at High. Now put that new CUBE file in that director and see if it shows up. The short answer to your original question is - it may not work the way it does on a MAC when using a PC.

Frank, thanks so much! Success at last! It was all a matter of permissions. Once I followed your example and logged in as administrator, the installation was successful. I am a happy camper now!!!

On my MAC it forced me to login as Admin just to place the files in that directory. These files(cube) also work in Luminar.
I'm glad you are now a happy camper.

In another discussion Rita shared this post that will add to the discussion of color combinations/color swatches/LUTs. LUT stands for Look Up Tables. It's a way of applying colors. I became aware of it because it is an Option in CC and read about but never used it. I believe Fotofrank has mentioned using it, perhaps he is able to explain. I believe TOPAZ Restyle is doing something similar and I do use that sometimes.
You can make your own Color Swatches to add to the supplied ones: Open any image and go to Image>Mode>Indexed Color
Click OK and go to Image>Mode>Color Table Give it a name and save as an .act file to a place where you can find it again (I use a designated folder in Documents. Forget I said .aco, it's a long story)
You can now load it into your Swatches Palette.
This is the one I made from the Italy Pic
Read absolutely everything about it:

I hope I made sense of it, we just had an earthquake while I was typing. Swaying chairs and monitors do not promote clear thinking

I hope I made sense of it, we just had an earthquake while I was typing. Swaying chairs and monitors do not promote clear thinking I can imagine Rita... Thanks for your reply re LUT's and Colour Swatches. I have recently been looking into LUT’s in Affinity Photo. The software comes with 12 sets of Pantone LUT’s but I didn’t really know how to use them or what to do with them however YouTube is a wonderful source of learning and now I have a new toy to play with. I am also investigating the Colour Swatches contained in AP too. So much to learn… but it’s fun.

Lillias, I prefer Swatches to the Color Picker because you can see much more clearly what you will get.
