We now have three resident robins in the garden, this poor fella was in a bad way and skin and bones but is lot better now after a diet of mealworms for a few days. OLYMPUS E-M5, M.75-300mm F4.8-6.7 II , 300.0 mm, ƒ/7.1 @ 1/640, ISO 1250 Processed in CO8 Pro.

Your usual capture of intricate detail is amazing. How close is the lens of the remote camera to the target ? That poor bird's head looks like some of the cat-lady's cats around here after getting woke up from a warm under-the-car-hood nap by whirling fans and fast-moving belts.

Great detail Paul,,,,,is this bird doing a partial molt, diseased, mite's etc or what? dick Thank you Dick, he could be but it could also be battle scars, although robins will share territory, in the mating season they are very territorial and will fight to the death. He is and thank you Marianne. Thank you Buckskin, no remote just handheld from about six feet away. Thank you Judy.
