Looking for suggestions on book(s) for using PSE 18. Would be prefer something more then "beginner" as I have used previous versions Elements.

Scott Kelby has a series titled "The Photoshop Elements x.x Book for Digital Photographers". I am quite familiar with these books and I highly recommend them. They are not a manual (compared to Barbara Brundage's The Missing Manual); they contain tutorials and it is assumed that anyone following the tutorials is not a "beginner", i.e., that he/she already has some knowledge of how PSE works.
The edition of this book for PSE 2018 is supposed to be available this month (probably around the 8th).
The Photoshop Elements 2018 Book for Digital Photographers (Voices That Matter) 1st Edition
If it is feasible, you could try to get your hands on a previous edition (at a library, bookstore, etc.). In this way, you could find out if that's what you want.
