Max really is a sporty fellow; game for anything by the looks of those photos…I hope his arm is better now. I love how you have split the photo on the left into two. I have to say I didn’t notice that right away so well done.
I like the BG paper you have chosen and your layout is very nice.
If I were to be ultra-critical the only thing I would do differently myself would be to add a little drop shadow to each photo. A drop shadow just lifts the photo a little off the page and sort of brings it to life. At the moment they are lying very flat on the page with no definition between them and the BG paper.
If you were to do this with this page I think you would have to make a little bit more room between the photos in order to accommodate the drop shadow.
Maybe try this on another page just for yourself to see if you agree with me or not. I hope I haven’t offended by these comments as that’s not my aim. Just trying to be constructively helpful.

Thanks Lillian, good advice, I will try it and see. Will it still work if these photos were clipped to the template? It was a coffee shop template that I found and liked because it had all these great spaces. I appreciate you taking the time to make this suggestion.

Will it still work if these photos were clipped to the template? Yes it will jackscrap. The drop shadow needs to be applied to the template and NOT to the photo clipped to the template. So select the template layer and then go to Styles>Drop Shadows and try the Low drop shadow. Once applied you can adjust the placement and opacity of the shadow if necessary by clicking on the little fx that appears at the right hand end of the template layer which opens up the settings box where you can make said adjustments. As I mentioned my only reservation on this particular page is that the photos are that close together so you will have to be careful that the shadows don't run into the adjacent photo if you follow me. You have made a great start by the way. It's a lovely page. Give me a shout if I can give you any further help.

Thank you jackscrap for being willing to try the drop shadow. It looks really good IMO but it’s your opinion that counts. I see you have added a rick rack border too. A nice addition to your page. Now that you have dipped your toe in the scrapbooking water I hope you will feel free to join us again anytime.
Your participation is really appreciated.

Terrific job with this Jackie - as BillieJean suggested, the drop shadow really works well for this.

I like the shadow - and the rickrack border. It finishes your page. Great job.
