Turning day into night.
The only tutorials I can find are for Photoshop. Has anyone noticed any for Elements?

Hopefully fotofrank will show how he created his image.
In case you are not aware of, . . .
fotofrank (Frank) is one of the hosts of the CE challenge (for which he has written very effective tutorials) and, IMHO, he is also a naturally-born tutorial writer. Hence, my "hint".
Frank, . . . I am going to put you on the spot. HINT: A tutorial. PLEASE!

Thank you, Sepiana. And if it was you who sorted my piggy back picture out - then thank you for that, too.

I had to have a try at this myself. It was an interesting exercise and I'm certainly not comparing my effort with fotofranks. I look forward to him telling us how he achieved his result... Light beams from Obsidiandawn.

No, I didn't do anything with that picture. I am guessing it was some kind of glitch with imgbb (which eventually fixed itself).

Hi hmca, Bailey , thanks for the list of resources. I took a quick look and saw this one. Did you add my image or is this a coincidence......now I'm confused....LOL!!!! I had a look at the photo you referred to. There are some tell-tale signs showing it and your photo were taken at different times. One being your photo doesn't have the security camera (circled in red) that appears on the photo in the tutorial. Your photo Photo on tutorial web site
Hi Sepiana, Hopefully fotofrank will show how he created his image.
In case you are not aware of, . . .
fotofrank (Frank) is one of the hosts of the CE challenge (for which he has written very effective tutorials) and, IMHO, he is also a naturally-born tutorial writer. Hence, my "hint". I'm not sure what you mean. You might recall I took part in fotofrank's stained glass template challenge. It was a lot of fun . Hopefully he will have time to show how he created his image earlier in this thread. In the mean time I posted a google search result link listing many tutorials on converting day photos to night photos.

Bailey, I noticed the red and white pole which I had removed from my picture after I posted but left it here as it is quite a coincidence!

And the tree has grown some long tendrils. So it must be a more recent photo.

Yes Miss Marple I am convinced they are 2 separate photos taken at different times. The security camera on the wall is the tell-tale that really stands out for me. Enjoy your next case.
