Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in this challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.

This is the war memorial in Martin Place, Sydney. 25 April is Anzac Day, Australia's day to remember and honor all of the gallant men and women past and present who have served their country so selflessly. u.cubeupload.com/Sydney/WarMemorial1.jpg

Thanks Sepiana. This memorial popped up on campus, sponsored by Iraq Veterans Against War. To say it was powerful would be a disservice to all involved. We must never forget. Bill

A local War Memorial pays tribute to those from the borough who died in the 1914-18 war. Shamefully, there has been a problem lately - people have been stealing the bronze plaques with the names of the dead, and the paving stones surrounding the monument have also disappeared. The expense of replacement is as nothing to the selfish act of despoiling a monument for personal gain - how low can one get?

Plenty of memorials and monuments to be found in a graveyard: This is a blend of two photos, the base one changed to a sepia, then the Orton Effect applied, plus one of Blair's Borders (had these on my computer for ten years but can no longer find a link to them) Bayla

I love the way you captured this memorial. It resulted in a very poignant image.

It is a shame some people have no respect for it. Great capture!

I really like how you blended two photos together. It made for a very original image.
