For anyone else trialing this application I looked on youtube and found this video which seems very helpful. It might be a good idea if members who have this or are trying it out post some before and after images. I hope to add one tomorrow.

I just downloaded the trial. Seems like a steep learning curve......am I right? Speaking for myself, . . . yes, it can be a steep learning curve. They have a very detailed Manual (PDF) though. I find it very helpful.

Just coming back here to add that . . . DAP was highly recommended by Barbara Brundage (back on the now-closed EV forum). That was enough endorsement for me.
This is what she says on her blog. (An old post though, when DAP was for Windows only.)

Sepiana.....certainly was a great recommendation from Barbara Brundage. If I were to purchase the program, I am sure I would find the manual you linked to helpful, so thank you for that as well. Here are the results of this morning's "play" with the program. They are not meant to encourage or discourage anyone......just simply to give some idea of what might be achieved by someone trying out the program: Original DAP: Original: DAP: Original: DAP:

I have the latest version but did have an issue with a black screen when I used the layers function. I'll have to try it again in the next few days to see if it was a fluke or something they need to be made aware of. I was able to back out of it though.
