Okay,
I was nosing around in On1 Effects 10 and clicked "Get More Presets"; this opened a page on the On1 site where I had several options for free presets or one big "Get All" button; I opted for the "All"
Then, with free presets in hand, I searched and finally found some instructions that made sense about how to install them in On1 Effects 10; there were some over 100 in all.
I wish I had of made screen-shots of what I already had, so as to compare with what I ended up with after the fact.
Nowhere could I find any instructions as to how to install these effects in Perfect Effects 9; I actually prefer version 9 as it does not crash so easily nor nearly so often as 10.
I did notice that several presets that 9 has that were absent in 10 were included in this free package; I also noticed that there is no "Get More Presets" button in 9 ----- I do have the FULL version of 10, not the watered down trial version.
So, I clicked the "Show Presets Folder" in both 9 and 10, hoping that I could compare them side-by-side and copy whatever presets one may have to the other, whichever the case may be.
However, I ran into a bit of a snag.........
The presets folder that opens for 10 shows folders for every category of presets and opening each folder shows all the individual presets contained in that folder.
The presets folder for 9 shows only two folders, My Favorites and Recently Used.
I searched around and cannot find any folder for 9 that shows all available presets like the 10 folder does; as usual for me, a Google search did not turn up anything helpful.
Does anyone know where the complete presets folder for 9 is located ?
I also have downloaded another group of free On1 presets from another source and would like to install them in both versions, 9 and 10.
