ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by billz . (Thanks, Bill!)

Timing is everything I guess, so I'll start us off with one from this morning just outside Centralia, WA. Thanks for coordinating the challenge Sepiana!!

I took this photo (3 photos stitched together) on the weekend. (I don't know why imgbb blur thumbnails while the enlargements are sharp ) Overlooking the township of Halls Gap (Victoria, Australia) (Enlargement is clearer)

Bill, what a bucolic scene you captured! Great composition and DOF! I love the leading line of the fence going across the frame. The clouds in the sky are a bonus.

I took this photo (3 photos stitched together) on the weekend. Bailey, it was a good idea to go for 3 photos stitched together. It paid off in the end. Nicely done!

They were stitched together in PSE 14 using the Cylindrical Method and "Blend Images Together","Vignette Removal", "Geometric Distortion Correction" all turned on (checked).

Bill, not in this part of the country! I went to shoot for this challenge and got rained out. Mother Nature was not in a good mood (heavy rain, thunder, lightning, etc.). I will have to try again.

Bailey, it was a good idea to go for 3 photos stitched together. Actually I had no choice. I couldn't move back anymore unless I wanted to go over the edge

High summer in the countryside - the spring lambs are growing fast, the adult sheep have been sheared and high on the South Downs the grass is growing profusely, giving us all hay fever!

Well I did see some sheep today but they weren't as scenic as Brenda's so I'll go with cattle! A warm sunny day so they were relaxing under the trees although nearby there was one very persistent youngster insisting on an afternoon snack. Tony

Brenda, you have the eyes of a photographer. Great findings for this theme. So pastoral (right word?)!
First image -- minimalist, simple, uncluttered yet so effective. I just keep going back to it.
Second image -- I specially like how it has "layers" of interest from the foreground to the background (tall grass>field/hills>cloudscape).

It just says "Countryside".
First image -- Clear, sharp details! I particularly like how you composed your shot; our eyes are drawn from one side of the frame to the other (courtesy of the cattle).
Second image -- Very clever! Getting up close and personal with those two. Great DOF!

Pete, beautiful countryside! Great job capturing it. I really like you went for a panorama; perfect choice for such a scenery.

I decided on a closer image.
(Better when enlarged).
