Hi again. The mystery seems to be understood now. The issue is with the Upload via postimage.org plugin. It generates an incorrect command if the avatar or thumbnail sizes are selected. FYI: the resize refers to the size of the image that will be displayed when the thumbnail in your post is clicked, not the size of the thumbnail itself. The 15 inch monitor choice works well for me. Tom, But when I replicated the problem I didn't select avatar or thumbnail - I left it as ' Do not resize my image' but deliberately resized my image to something smaller in PSE.
