I have much to learn about my new environment in the Tucson AZ area. This is a Night Blooming Cereus in my front yard. I saw withering blooms a few days in a row and on a lark I looked at this cactus in the evening (15 sec, f2.8 ISO 100 exposed at 8:41pm MST) Night blooming attracts their preferred pollinators ... bats.
On1 Photo Raw 2018 used for all edits: set white and black points, added dynamic contrast using a luminosity mask, added a blur to the noisy sky, and cropped. before on left

Interesting subject and info; even more so to me as, although we live a long way from Arizona, my aunt has a bunch of flowers whose yellow blooms only open up at dusk and then close themselves at dawn; though they are not any sort of cactus that I can see.
I never thought about the possibility of bats being their pollinators until I read your post.
