ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

I remember when bales of hay were small and square and you stacked them on the hay wagon by hand. Now they're big and round and it takes a fork lift to move them. This would also fit the countryside theme but it works for this week too as the first cut of hay is coming off. Tony

Mill Ends Park is the smallest park in the world. Seen here in it's 452 sq. in. circular entirety. If you're keen on the backstory and some history, Wikipedia has a nice entry. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mill_Ends_ParkThanks for the theme Sepiana!!

The Village Green duck pond. Today - hot and sunny.
Turn left at this roundabout, and The Green is a short way along.

This is a composite - Catalina Mountains in Tucson, AZ used for a backdrop of a half moon showing earth shine (moon is also a composite to capture both bright and dark)

I really like how you composed your shot; our eyes naturally go from one bale of hay to the other, following an imaginary diagonal line. Clever!

Bill, great shot -- up close & personal with the little park but also capturing some of the street. It puts all in perspective. I love the square crop!
Thanks for the link! I had never heard of this park. Learned something new!

Brenda, what a finding -- a circular dew pond! This is a great shot; you got clear details (with the bonus of the reflections in the water.)

whippet, really nice interpretations of this theme! I like the perspective (angle?) you used to shoot the roundabout. It highlights its shape.
