Paul,
I love abstracts like that. I studied at Birmingham University 38 years ago.....the city centre & the Bull Ring have certainly changed since then!

Fantastic. Even with the explanation from Bayla, it's hard to understand.

That sure don't look like the classy Selfridges I have been seeing on PBS; that building looks more like something out of a sci-fi movie.
I am not a fan of such architecture.
Like dicklaxt, if you hadn't posted that link, I would never have had a clue.
Thanks.

I am not a fan of such architecture. Neither am I, but it does make for some interesting photo opportunities!

That is a great abstract photo, and nicely processed Paul. Whoever approved the plans for that building, the Mr Selfridge we see on PBS would never have allowed such a grotesque building to bear his name.

My granny would have called it "an eyesore"
Thanks, craftysnapper, for posting the image; else I would have never known such a place existed.

Thanks guys,it seems to have generated some discussion. You should see the new Birmingham library for a planning eyesore but I guess trendy and modern are the in thing in Birmingham at the moment.
