Sorry every one, but I have a big problem.
Have just completed a what was called a April 2018 windows 10 upgrade.
Now my PSE 15 will not open a photo. Attached is a screen shot of what happens when I open a photo.
So far, I have uninstalled PSE from laptop and re installed again. Still the same result.
Can anyone offer any help or advice please.

Try clicking on the white square on top of it - hopefully it will then be maximised in the editor.

Hi schaf,

This is one of the problems created by the Windows 10 update (v 1803). It is called the "postage stamp" effect when you have "floating windows" enabled. See this workaround posted by michelb .

Thank you for your replies, boy you people are good and fast.
Sydney thanks for your suggestion, it only opened the postage stamp in gallery effect.
Sepiana and Michelb are spot on and thank you both for your help.
I noticed reading Mickelbs post that Adobe are aware and a fix will arrive in due time

Schaf, you are most welcome! michelb gets the credit for posting the information.

BTW, there have been several reports of problems with PSE 14, 15, and 2018 after this Windows update. You may want to check these two threads.
