In AZ during the monsoon season we have some amazing cloud formations ... here's one captured shortly after sunset. This is a 3 image capture merged using On1 hdr application. I didn't actually want the hdr, but used it to reduce noise.

Beautiful clouds, Pete. Living on the east coast, I never associated monsoon season with the US. Doing a quick google search I see that :"Within the United States, it affects Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, West Texas, and California."

Nice photo. I love clouds. We've been through some wicked t-storms in March in the Phoenix area.
