ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

The Little League Softball World Series is being held in town over the next week or so. Girls from the US, Canada, Mexico, Philippines, and Czech Republic have fought to represent their various regions in the 9 - 12 year old bracket. This is from today's action with Latin America taking on US Southwest. The pitcher inherited a bases-loaded, nobody out, situation and pitched her way out of it. US Southwest went on to win the game. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!!

Fishing with Dave. Crowsnest River, Alberta. August 11, 2018. Shot with my Canon P&S fishing camera. (Lowish light and the camera is showing its age...reminds me why I have a good camera for my everyday stuff.) The fish won hands down this evening. All sorts of rising trout and couldn't hook one. Oh well, a nice walk on a pretty river with a good friend.

My daughter wing walking for charity Wippet, thanks for posting. Your daughter looks very nice. If this does not qualify as a sport, I could not tell what would. Walking of flying wings, is this something she inherited from her mother?

It is the capture of a very special moment for both you and your friend.

@ Sepiana. Thank you for the link. Personally, I would not call it extreme or dangerous.
I think it is next month that she is going again. Same thing, but this time with loop the loop added to the mix. That is going to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society.

Many folks wouldn't consider photography a sport. I certainly think of it as a sport about half of the time. This is one of those times.
