Yes, I can get it to print out a singe photo. But, I cannot get a folded 5x7 greeting card printed, I think I have tried everything, but, really baffled. Even if I do a custom page setup it does not work. If there is someone who can get this combo to work, I would appreciate knowing. Thanks, Charles J

1st question - is your layout in Elements a 5X7? when you go to print - in the setup w/ elements - do you choose the 5x7? When you get to the Canon print - are you selecting a 5X7 paper? ~bruce.

1st answer, I am trying to use the Create Greeting Card item. It offers a number of options, 5x7(Flat, Portrait), and some others, the one I want to use is 5x7 (folded, portrait). I'll click on the "A Spot of Teal". The animation shows cover, two inside pages, and so forth. I let it auto select the photos, the right panel shows that there are indeed a picture on the front cover, and two inside pages. At this point, everything looks ready to go. So, let's print! After some working, the Print dialogue comes up. It has defaults set, Printer, and US Letter and the third choice is Select Print Size, which shows 4x6 this time. Clearly, this is not going to work. Now, I am assuming that when it says a 5x7 folded, I should get a card that is folded and measured 5x7, sorta like I would buy at Hallmark. Now, there is an option shown under Select Print Size which is Actual Size, 10"by 14". Where did that come from? And from here on out, no other settings seem to work.
Thing is, there is no easy way to get the system to work with a 7x10 piece of paper so that a folded card would result. Even if you go the custom paper size option, it still does not seem to work. At least not for me. This is probably the 10th or more time I have spent way too much time and way too much ink and paper trying to figure out. So, thanks, but, I'm going to use a different app that will get the job done. And no, not Pages or Word either, neither of them knows what to do. And neither do two other so called card printing apps that I have bought over the years. None of them work for me. Time to move on. Charles J

bokeh, thanks, don't know how I missed that one! Will check it all out!
BTW, printers have been an issue for me since the first one I ever owned. A Gorilla Banana! Anyone else have one of those? And remember those Okidata 9 pins machines, all steel, weighed 25 lbs at least? Probably would still work if used all day every day till now. Charles J

Charles J I just did a quick google of "print greeting cards photoshop elements" and the link I posted is the first item in the search results. Hopefully it will help. And yes, setting up a home printing process can be a bit of a pain especially if colour management for your prints is important to you. You need to calibrate your monitor and printer otherwise there is a low chance what you print out will match what you see on the screen. Once you are setup properly then making large prints of your photos can be very enjoyable and satisfying. But that's a whole different ball game and a totally new and different thread to your thread here. Suffice to say I take printing seriously because imho the quality of an image can only be truly judged by how it prints out and looks in a large format print. Imo, an image on screen at a low resolution of ~1000px does not give a true indication of how it will look in a large format print at its original resolution. You can hide a lot of faults in a relatively low resolution web image that stand out like sore thumbs when printed in a large format. But now I'm getting side-tracked..............so hopefully one of the tute's in the link will help you. Good luck

Let's try to focus on this issue of printing a folded greeting card in the size you want. What you describe has been widely reported in the Adobe forums going as far back as Elements 9. Here is such a report. Hopefully the suggestions given will work for you.
