Is there a photostacking capability in PSE 13 in addition to photo merge? That may be a well known term, but I don't know what photo stacking is. Please enlighten me!

Is there a photostacking capability in PSE 13 in addition to photo merge? Hi cauer, welcome to PSE&M!
If you are talking about focus stacking . . . no, Elements on its own is not capable of doing it but you can use an add-on (a script) which will allow you to achieve what you want. Elements+ offers a Focus Stacking script. Also, one of our members, TonyW, wrote a focus stacking action. If you are interested in it, I can locate the files for you.

I think cauer is thinking of the same photo stacking that is available in Lightroom.

I used Tony's Action in the past and it works well. I once took 10 or so macro shots in PSE11 of a coin and put them together which I thought was pretty cool. I don't have a clue today how to do it now after my time away but Sepiana can find it she always does never fail.....just wait, she's a walking resource and I don't think she ever sleeps either. dick
