I so often make a comment to a post or even when creating a new post, forget to click on the "create button" consequently losing all data. I'm sure this is really not a true medical or old age problem and that other's do or have done the same. The question then becomes is there a way to alert us when we finish to do the "click on the button" routine? dick

How about a Post-it® note stuck to one corner of your monitor that reads 'Don't forget to click on Create Post'? I actually have on screen stickies to remind me to do all sorts of things, but I can't see them unless my browser is minimised.

I have to agree with dicklaxt There are times when I have done exactly as dicklaxt has just described. On many forums, a warning is displayed which is very helpful and has save much frustration for myself. Bayla, I do like your idea. I, too, have Sticky Notes on my desktop but they are obscured by other open windows (usually my email client) so I'm afraid your solution wouldn't help me. Anyway, I'd forget to check / read it If there is the facility of warning if the post hasn't been posted on this forum, it would be brilliant. I think that's what dicklaxt is suggesting. Ooops! I must now remember to click the 'Post' button

There is a way to enable drafts: Under your profile, go under Edit Profile Then under settings, check "Yes" for Enable Drafts.
If you do this and then navigate away from a post without creating it, you will get a warning if you try and create a new one.

Awesome, I just tried that and it works.
I also periodically select and copy the text of anything that I am writing just in case I navigate away from a page, then I can just paste and continue.
