Turkey vultures (Cathartes aura) in the Oldman River valley, Lethbridge, Alberta, August 25.

So cute and cuddly, wot?

The top one for sure (?) is a juvenile and I suspect the other one is as well. Mom (??) was hanging nearby.

Sony A7IV and A7III full-frame mirrorless bodies, Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens, FE 24mm F1.4 GM lens, Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS, Minolta 100 macro.
Currently using PSE 2023. Also used 2021, 2018, and had PSE 11, 10, 8, 6 and 3; PS LE and full PS.

When I have seen them I can easily tell that they are not "pretty" birds. However your close-ups provide a better view than what I have seen in the wild.
