I recently upgraded to Elements 2018 from Vn.15 and notice that whenever I complete a crop selection using the Crop Tool, the Tool Options box always pops up at the bottom of the screen (something that did not happen in Vn.15). I cannot find a way of switching this off, so has anyone else experienced this and found a way of doing so? It is annoying because the pop up often obscures the bottom part of the cropped picture, and I have to minimise pop up each time. Any advice would be welcomed.

Sorry - solution to problem found (unticking auto show tool options at right hand bottom corner)

Another suggestion: set your preferences to 'allow floating windows in Expert mode'. You can set the image window to show over the bottom tool settings bar and easily zoom in and out in its own window with your scroll wheel mouse.
