There were a number of beautiful images added to our member galleries this past week. It has been a challenge to select the images that I want to highlight for IOW. I have finally decided on those below listed in no particular order.
I was immediately drawn to the diagonal placement of the iceberg and the way it was backed by the evergreens in "As we cruise by" by dandc. I can only imagine what it must have been like to try to capture this magnificent force of nature from a moving ship.

Even if the photographer's name wasn't attached I would readily be able to identify Artist at Work as the distinctive style of PeteB. I especially like the angle Pete shot from as it includes a hint of the artist's eye and his hand engaged in the painting. The bridge in the background completes this well thought-out composition.

Untitled by Berengaria creates a quiet contemplative mood. I like the contrast between the very bright light on the table and the shadows in the background. The square format works well for this intimate scene.

Sunset over the Livingstone Range, Alberta by Clive is my choice for this week's IOW Title. I am always drawn to a beautiful landscape. The natural colors of the sky dotted with a few lingering clouds have created a stunning image that takes on the quality of a painting ready for framing.
