Michel, yes, you are absolutely right. I find it to be a drawback though.
The advantage of going to Help>About Plug-In>Camera Raw is that this feature is available in all the three editing modes -- Quick, Guided, Expert.
I agree. Not showing the ACR version in full screen ACR is not exactly a bug, but a definitively bad Interface choice.
Yes, indeed!!! What was Adobe thinking?

By the way, the bug to look at 'About Plugins' which closes PSE is still there. Michel,
I thought this bug affected only the Expert editing mode in PSE 2018. When I was checking the other two modes -- Quick and Guided, I found out these two will also crash and PSE 2018 will shut down. I guess I had not noticed it before because I pretty much use the Expert mode only.

Very interesting ... possibly the crash is related to ACR version ... my editor does NOT crash when checking about plugins no matter when checked.
ACR 10.1 works well on my Win7 pc - what increased capabilities exist in 10.3? I'll try to figure out upgrading if I'd use them.

To all who have installed the ACR 10.3 update: I just had to edit a few raw files, and big surprise: the dialog is completely changed.
You can play with all the variants (kinds of presets). Same interface for jpegs.

Kudos to Adobe!!! Yes, it seems that the two main bugs in PSE 2018 (RAM issue after Win 10 update and small window opening in floating windows mode) are also gone. Too new to comment, just installed this morning (had to install in administrator mode).
There is no help file on what is new in the ACR module, but as I noted in this thread, the 10.4 version offers the same new feature as 10.3 with many 'presets'.
