Concerning the little jpeg options box that always follows when saving a jpeg, Elements is the only of many programs we have that makes us have to confirm our wishes of saving a jpeg by clicking Okay in the jpeg options box EVERY TIME a jpeg is saved..
All of our other programs have a place where we can enter our jpeg saving preferences once-and-for-all and never be annoyed with it again, unless the rare occasion arises where we might want to change things.
Maybe I am missing something that I could change in preferences; maybe we do have an option that will save our jpeg preferences and not have to click that silly box again.
Another time-wasting annoyance we often have with the jpeg options box is that it will change jpeg quality all of it's own accord; and, once I catch that it has decided to change quality, this forces me to backtrack through my saved jpegs and re-save however many that have got past me before I noticed anything was amiss.
As much as this has annoyed me, I am going to feel pretty silly if the solution has been obvious all along.
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Don't think there's a cure for either. Just two of life's little foibles.

Well, you don't know until you ask........ Sometimes, a mere scrap of information that has been common knowledge to everyone else has made my life easier in the knowing. Thanks for confirming that there is no cure.
