Does anyone know if the guided instructions in Photoshop Elements (in this case 18) are still around for creating a text box on top of an image and then dropping opacity within box, then adding text which is 100% opacity? I did this easily in PSE6 but that doesn't help now.
Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Pat, I am not understanding what you mean by "dropping opacity within box"; what is the box you are referring to?

Hi Frizzylee -
I don't see it in Guided edits in PSE15, so I guess it's been dropped.
Easy to do, though.
Create a new layer.
Use the rectangular marquee selection tool to give you a box the size you want.
With that selection still active, use the fill tool to fill with a color of your choice. Reduce the opacity of that layer to sit. Add your text.
