ATTENTION!!!
There is no longer a "next Sunday" posting deadline. You can grab your camera, take your photo, and post it in this thread any time you wish to.
Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
The idea behind this week’s theme is that you take two shots of one subject. One shot should be in the horizontal orientation (landscape) and the other shot should be in the vertical orientation (portrait). Grab your camera, rotate it, and . . . have fun! Happy Camera Rotation!

Taken on this morning's walk, I hope that these two shots comply with your criteria.

Only had a 35 prime on my camera today....if I have a chance to try it again I'll use a zoom lens.

Lots of leaf fall along a trail through the woods today. Hard to decide whether I prefer portrait or landscape! Tony

One more taken at a "Brown Bess" musket demonstration at Fort George, Niagara - same subject a few moments apart but more obvious that one should be portrait and the other landscape so I put them side by side. Tony

The portrait for me, Tony. I can just picture myself wandering through those woods with my dogs. Heaven.

I agree with whippet. It would be the portrait for me too because it shows the grandeur of the trees better IMO.

Dennis, they definitely did. Great shots -- beautiful morning light! I really like how you captured the geese (ducks?) in both shots -- coming from the background towards the lower left corner of the frame. One can just fell the motion. Very effective!

Tony Tony, I really like how you put these two shots side by side. It really brings out the portrait vs landscape angle of this challenge. The simplicity of the composition in both shots is a plus.
