Do any of you make photo books. If so could you share what company you use? something that is quick and easy ? Not to pricey!
Thanks Tina B

Tina, I have made several books using Shutterfly. They have a feature where they would automatically add your pictures if that was something that might interest you. I like to add my pictures myself. They offer a nice variety book designs, sizes and layouts with the option to customize as you see fit. It initially took me a little while to familiarize myself with the site but at this point I am quite comfortable with it. I have been pleased with the quality of the books and on one occasion where there was a problem (pages were stuck together) their customer service was excellent. I have friends who love Blurb and know that Costco also has a book service. I imagine other members might have some additional suggestions. You might find this thread helpful. Here is a review of the best photo book sites of 2018......I never heard of the top rated one! : )

Tina, I don't know if they operate outside of Europe, but I tend to produce hardback A4 books for my 'big' holidays and softback 6x4 books for smaller hols, plus a calendar every year for family and friends, and I have always had excellent service and quality from Photobox.

Some years ago, around Christmas time, we bought some photographic stuff from Amazon and they sent us big discount coupons toward photo books plus 50 free 4x6 prints from Shutterfly; in fact, if memory serves, the books were also free and we only had to pay shipping.
That got us started with Shutterfly.
The first books we got were very nice and the wife has used them several times since; she just recently got some new ones in the mail that she had created.
When I did mine, I pre-sized the photos and custom-created the layout.
Like Helen already pointed out, they do have an automatic option where they will design the book for you.
I kinda suspect that Amazon owns Shutterfly (and just about everything else these days).
On EDIT:>>> I never heard of MixBook before either.
When I clicked the link that Helen provided, it presented me with a 40% off coupon for a 10x10 book from MixBook.

I should add that Shutterfly frequently runs specials. Just checked and this is their present offer. Just know that they restrict to one offer per order. So if for instance you chose 40% off the creation of a book the free shipping would not be available.

I have used Blurb many times. Been very pleased with the quality. They can be pricey but run sales all the time. I always wait for the 40% sale. I did not like the soft cover versions but love the 12 by 12 image wrap hard cover.

I can ditto what blackmutt says about Blurb. I also like the versatility of creating my own layouts, borders, backgrounds, etc. Hard cover is best. Wait for the sales.

One thing that i have found is that because i work on a laptop, i have to increase the exposure a tiny bit on the photos otherwise they print a little too dark. That is in general for mist of my work. Laptops are known for looking brighter.
