I have Photoshop Elements 7 which I reinstalled recently but I cannot access my third party layer styles. Have had this problem before but can't remember how to fix it. Can anyone help please?

Hi fraxa, welcome to PSE&M!
Just adding some clarification.
Layer styles are installed in two separate folders. The instructions in that link are only to install layer styles so that they can be accessed via the Effects panel. Layer styles also need to be installed in another folder so that you can apply a style while using the Custom Shape and the Type tools. The path for this second installation is.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\Presets\Styles
NOTE: On a 64-bit OS, the path will be C:\Program Files (x86)\ . . .
Also, those instructions assume that your layer styles do not not have accompanying .xml files. Third-party layer styles usually come with such files. In this case, you can skip Step 2.
Hope this helps!
