I can't believe how quickly this week went by, but it's good to know that others had time to take some great photos to share in their galleries.
My picks for the week include images by dandc, PeteB and Berengaria. dandc - Along the Umpqua River - I think you have captured this scene from the perfect angle, my eyes can't help but be drawn into the curve of the river and the beautiful reflections, excellent processing and the colours are amazing.

IOW
Berengaria - Wyndcliffe Mansion - I like the dark and moody nature of this image, and the clever way you have used the background texture to make the scene even more mysterious. I also like the subtle hint of colour in the image.

First, thank you Jacki for volunteering to take this week on very short notice. Your commitment to the IOW process is greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to Dan and Pete for two images where the color steals the show. Special congrats to Berengeria who uses the absence of color and a subtle texture to create a mysterious mood. Love this, Berie!

Fantastic pictures.
dandc- breathtakinglyy beautiful.
At first glance, I thought Pete's art trail was somebody's washing line. Great capture.
Berengeria's image takes b/w to a different level - in my opinion. As hmca says - haunting.

What a contrast of selections - Two serene and colorful photos from PeteB and dandc, and then a very moody and somber image from Berengeria! Congratulations on your fine work!
Thanks for judging Jacki!

Jacki Thanks for including my image in the Image of the Week. I'm certain that other viewers wondered about the string of colors. Perhaps I should have commented about the capture. Over 1,000 yards of color fabric has been strung along the local arts trail ... known as Fabric Art. Here is a short article about the artist and the fabric hung on the arts trail www.mcall.com/news/local/easton/mc-nws-easton-karl-stirner-fabric-art-20180814-story.html
