I just found these in the first "root" level of my secondary internal HDD: I think this is something new that has started happening; I have never before noticed there being such files there before. The oldest is dated 15-August and it has probably been that long since I have looked in that particular view of the HDD. However, very frequently, I use Synchredible to synchronize my back-up HDDs with this HDD; and, I have it set such that any files that have been removed from the source HDD get deleted from the back-up HDDs and kicked into the Recycle Bin >>> I have never found any Photoshop Temp files in the Recycle Bin. Can anyone shed any light on the where and why of these files ? Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

here is some information on these files and how to delete them. Thanks for the information. I might ought to have a look around; I may find a bunch of these scattered around in hidden places. I have another program, Picture Window Pro, that saves several huge TIFF files of various stages of the same image; these never go away until I manually delete them.
