Our ponds froze over a couple of weeks ago, but mostly have thawed with recent warmth and high winds. Lots of Canada geese hanging around "my" ponds. Most Canada geese will migrate, but a few thousand stick around all winter and have for decades...generations don't know about migration. (The snow geese all fly south.) Just for fun ....   |
