Hey everyone, I just recently found you. I was new to signing up with EV, but when returned I found they were no longer. I need a community to hang with from time to time and hopefully meet a new digi scrap friend or two. In the meantime, I could use the help with this frustrating program! Just when you think you know the steps, come to find out, you're doing it wrong, or you don't really remember and your just fooling yourself, thinking you know.. Well that is me! At times I would consider myself at an intermediate level, but there are times, I still feel like a beginner. Does this madness ever end? In case your laughing your hiney off, I am right there with you as I laugh at myself.

Welcome to PE&More. Glad you found us.
PSE is not the most intuitive of programs but eventually you will get to know and love it - I've been using it for ten years now, and I started out feeling, like you, that I would never ever get to grips with it. And then I discovered the PET forum (EV's predecessor) and met up with such a friendly helpful bunch of people who were only willing to answer my questions and guide me. Hopefully we have recreated that same atmosphere here - so fire away with any questions you have and someone will be able to help you out.

Welcome MemeSue, I'm glad you made the transition from EV! I don't know for sure what program you were referring to, but it doesn't much matter, they all frustrate me! OH I was refering to Photoshop Elements. I am using version 13. Yes, some days, I just want to pull my hair out! |

Well that's good to know that there is still hope for me! I started with version 11, but didn't really use it for the first 6 months. I would open it and try to figure it out, and then get frustrated with it. It was later that I really tried to focus on learning it.. Version 12 came out shortly after that, but skipped it. Wanted to see if i would even last. I figured if I was still working with it when 13 came out, then I would upgrade, and so it happened. |

It was with the release of v13 that I said "I am going to learn how to use this beast!", and it seems to be happening. MemeSue - welcome. I share your interest in digi-scrapping. Hope we can swap ideas. My favorite thing is messing with text to make titles.
As for your frustration with PSE, help is only a question away.
