I took this photo while walking through a historical part of Wuxi, China in 2016 with friends of my wife (not them in the photo).
It was late afternoon and the air was very thick with pollution (which is normal). I had a play with Levels and Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layers in PSE to try to use the clouds, sun filtering through the thick smog and general "mood" of the scene to emphasise its eeriness.
The enlargement looks better and clearer.
