We live on the edge of a small town with a park across the road. There's no snow here but it's been chilly and Christmas Eve was foggy so there was some hoar frost today, Christmas Day. Mostly cloudy and dull with some light patches in the clouds and even faint patches of blue sky. Partly desaturated and fiddled with
Little adjustment here... That's a recycled shredded tire path...hate it for a few reasons Cropped hard and converted to BW. Probably should view full size....but it's a bit confusing on the eyes.
Little adjustment here
Frosty twigs
Wild rose scrub with some rose hip berries covered in frost

Looks like you have been having a ball in the frost Clive. I like them all but I love the first one in particular – something calming and peaceful about it.

Thanks Lillias and Helen. It was fun walking about looking for arty stuff. The hoar frost was pretty (was not as thick as it can be) but it's so hard to find "clean" closeup shots in which the background does not clutter...and it was cloudy. Lillias, the farms on the horizon in that top photo were bathed in sunshine intermittently. Looked neat, but far off. Happy new Year. Clive

How lucky you are, to wake up to that view every day. I think the b/w one is fantastic in the enlarged size.
