Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
This week’s theme was a suggestion by Pete (Peterj ). Thanks, Pete!

I made this for our summer place FB website in 2017. The Livingstone Range is about 25 km west and it was photograph from the front yard in our lot.

White Rose of Yorkshire. (God's own County). The white rose of Yorkshire is the symbol for the House of York. From the fourteenth century it has also been the symbol for Yorkshire.
This, and the Yorkshire rose sticker on my car windscreen, have been there for years. As has the Mountie.
A friend was going on holiday to Canada. I asked her to bring me a Mountie back. This wasn't quite what I meant.

Patriot and champion of free press - Mr. Ebenezer Watson Original printer and later owner of The Connecticut Courant (later The Hartford Courant, the longest continuously published paper in the U.S.). He would publish stories on the Boston Tea Party, Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill, and the Declaration of Independence. Also a member of Capt. Loomis Co. & Maj. Backus Reg. 1776.

Andy, definitely an example of National Pride -- Mr. Ebenezer Watson, an American Revolution patriot. Great shot! I love how you captured the light and shadow play.
