Hi Bailey, It worked for me too with PSE9. Although the positioning options are limited in the Dialog box, because the watermark is on a layer I was able to move it to where I wanted it. A bit of fiddling with the font and its size, and the opacity, and I think I will be there. Not as simple a solution as I would have liked but I think it will do. Thanks again. Robert
No problem Robert. Glad to see you have sorted out a solution.

I don't think you can copy/paste text if you are using the Caption/Watermark option in Process Multiple Files. Did you actually try it before posting?......because you actually can, at least in my PSE 14 In the Organiser, I open the caption for an image. I then open the image in the editor and select File->Process Multiple Files. In the Process Multiple Files dialogue box I select Watermark in the Labels panel. I then copy the caption in the Organiser into the Custom Text box under Watermarks. Works flawlessly.
My statement referred to using Copy/Paste to address the issue of a two-line caption (the subject of this thread).
Copying/Pasting text will work just fine when using Process Multiple Files provided the text is just a single line. If one tries to copy/paste a two-line (or more) text into the Custom Text box, one will encounter the same limitation as when the text is entered (typed). PSE will accept only one line; that's what will be displayed when the process is completed.
The text length in the Custom Text box seems to be limited to a single-line . . .
NOTE: This was confirmed using PSE 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 2018, and 2019.
Consequently, the OP cannot do this . . .
I want to use the built-in caption feature of PSE9, not the text tool to create my captions. Can these captions be forced onto two or more lines?

My statement referred to using Copy/Paste to address the issue of a two-line caption (the subject of this thread) No problem sepiana. Your original statement was unconditional as it did not refer to specific types of text (single/multi line or whatever) as you are now. I was just clarifying for the sake of any newbies following this thread who might have been mislead by your original statement. In any case, you can insert line breaks into text type database records using SQL. The organiser database is a SQLite database. If I have time one day I'll have a look to see if SQLite allows line breaks in text records. That would be the easiest and most flexible solution for me. In the mean time Robert has posted he has a solution he can work with, so all is good

It worked for me too with PSE9.
Robert, if you are talking about copying/pasting text into the Custom Text box (Process Multiple Files), please, see my previous post explaining the limitations of this technique. They are the same as for when you enter (type) the text.
Thanks for posting back! Glad to hear that.
