Went for a hike today with my camera (really Clive, a camera?) and stealing Helen's tree idea (I love your palm tree orb Helen!), took a few snapshots of some cottonwood trees. The top two are the same original. The originals are below.

That really is an impressive orb collection that you have all created! I've been fiddling with Photoshop and discovered you can create fake trees (Render Trees) so I had to create one and orb it. Switched the background, applied some layer styles, gradients and textures including finishing it off with a Jodi frame style. Lots of fun playing around and learning a few things along the way

Tony, impressive! I am in awe! I need to go and check this filter out; it seems to offer lots of possibilities. I remember someone (Julieanne Kost?) saying that there are over 30 types of trees to choose from. Moreover, you can draw a custom shape and have the filter follow the path.
