Saw a lot of black-capped chickadees and a couple of red-breasted nuthatches on today's walk. Pavan Park, Oldman River valley, January 15, 2019.

Oh, how I miss those guys. They were constant visitors to our feeders when we lived in the Midwest. Your photos are so nice - great job -- and great memory for me. TFS

Thanks for your kind comments. I really don't need more photos of chickadees, but they are fun to watch and an added feature of a walk in the river valley. It's cold here today and snowling lighty, but I might bundle up and go for a walk his afternoon. I am not a birder (they are full crazy...I am merely half crazy ), but yesterday I went to find a "saw whet" owl that had been seen in a specific tree in a valley park. Found the tree, along with three toggers who had been camped there for hours waiting for the saw whet to poke its head out of the tree hollow. Not happened yesterday. (Apparently on Sunday it put on a show.) Thanks again, Clive

Awesome images Clive. Especially the chickadee, since they tend to flit about and never sit still long enough. Well done!
