Just in time to get my rabbit ears fine tuned for the Big Game. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, with the eyes of a photographer -- great timely capture of an oldie! B&W was the perfect choice for the subject, a touch of nostalgia. Well done!
BTW, I was hoping I could add . . . "Way to go, Rams!". Unbelievable -- 3 x 3, 13 x 3! These new Rams are definitely not the old St. Louis Rams. Those were the glorious days of Warner, Faulk, Bruce, Holt, Hakim, Proehl, and Co.

Bailey, a trip down memory lane. Thanks for sharing! No problem sepiana. A few years ago I spent a few months on and off digitising all our family photos and slides I could get my hands on. It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun. I am very glad I did it now.

Note: Been away one week and getting caught up with life here at home. Okay, so this is a titch odd. It was nice to see some oldie TV shots and I was reminded of these two photos I took on July 20, 1969. We were in the TV room at a student residence at a research station. A bunch of folks were gathered to watch the moon landing. Of course, I had to take photos of the TV screen. Taken with a Minolta SRT 101. (After graduating from university in 1968, my mother bought me a grad present. I opted for the Minolta SRT 101 which was a dream camera back in the day. Stayed with Minolta for many years, even when Sony purchased Minolta a few years ago and have now owned three Sony DSLRs...actually my current camera is not a DSLR, but mirrorless.) In 2017, I paid to have a few hundred slides scanned. These two photos were in that batch. Fun stuff. The photos were actually take on July 20 since the official time shown was UTC ... and MST is a few hours earlier. This brings back a memory of this fantastic event! I had a small b/w tv, and wanted to watch, so went out and rented a colour tv for a couple of days, and quickly discovered the whole event was in black and white!!!
