Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

These 2 images use leading lines in different ways. When I set up the left shot, I saw the bridge arch taking the eyes on a "roller coaster" ride through the scene. While looking at the scene when I set up the right shot, I saw the horizontal balustrades as taking the eyes horizontally across the scene one level at a time.

Thanks for a theme I could play "inside." It's raining so hard here that the only chance of going outdoors to wait for the rain to switch to a snow squall. But I digress ... down into the tunnels I go for some leading lines.

Not the greatest week for picture taking as a "Colorado Low" came whistling through and dumped snow, ice pellets, freezing rain and now snow again. But not too hard today to find some classic leading lines in a blizzard and caught a passing train too! Tony

Everyday kitchen scene: knitting needles and an egg.

A bit of a stretch (RE: leading lines) ... egg and spoon

A bit of a stretch (RE: leading lines) ... egg and spoon Not sure why think that Clive. If my eyes don't land on the egg first, then they are lead to it by the spoon handle.

These 2 images use leading lines in different ways. Bailey, I like these. Significant topics, sound capture (perspective, focal length) and sound framing/cropping. The constant quality of the exposition on the whole picture is remarkable in both cases. I am curious to learn more about the post-processing. Was there a lot of post-processing needed? Many local adjustments? Luminosity masks?

Bailey , great finding -- architectural leading lines (bridge arch and horizontal balustrades). Nicely done on both shots!

I am curious. Is that some kind of mural painted on the tunnel wall?

Tony, you were challenged and you rose to the occasion.
1st image – This is a classic on more than one count -- subject, composition, vanishing point, and symmetry. Another job well done (as usual)! 2nd image – Right place at the right time. Great angle/perspective -- with the train + tracks forming a diagonal across the frame. A treat for train lovers!

Thanks Sepiana. I think the mural is tile of some sort. That particular stop serves the Oregon Zoo, so there are some critters in the design. I appreciate your comments!
