Im sure there is a thread for this so if I am rehashing please forgive me. I have a Sony A7 III. I purchased 2018 Elents in the fall. Elements will not recognize pics from my camera. Can anyone tell me if 2019 Elements will recognize the Sony A7 III?

Adobe introduced support for your camera -- Sony A7 III -- with the ACR 10.3 update.
Cameras supported by Camera Raw
As of this writing, PSE 2019 has the ACR 11.1 update. It should support your camera. |

Could the poster use the Adobe DNG converter to get round the problem rather than buying PE2019?

Thanks! Glad you remembered the Adobe DNG Converter. Yes, instead of upgrading to PSE 2019, the OP can use this free utility to convert his camera's Raw files to the non-proprietary DNG format. Once the Raw files have been converted to DNG, they should open in the Raw Converter in PSE 2018.
