Soooooooooo ... I posted a photo here in the "geometric" challenge...the "peace" symbol. No peeking! Without looking this up on the Internet, can you tell us the origin of this symbol? What exactly did this symbol represent? Have at 'er. Clive

Well I don't know exactly what it represented but it was originally designed for the UK Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and was the symbol used for the protest marches from Aldermaston to London. I remember it well and even have photos! Here's one - I'm guessing it would have been around 1962 Tony

Close Tony. This is correct, " Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND)" ... half points. But I am looking for the source of the symbol itself. My mother and gran lived near Aldermaston and I lived not too far away until age 8. Clive PS: Very cool old photo. Thanks.

The "peace" symbol is a combination of the semaphore flag positions for N and D = Nuclear Disarmament which morphed into the symbol for peace. See at 57 seconds here: youtu.be/fwLd1FodDWU
