Next Wed. my community is hosting a PGA Hope / Veterans charity event. Out photo club has been requested to provide photo coverage. Two of us have positively responded and split the duties - my half is action shots during the game. My challenge is twofold - I'm not a golfer, and have very little sports photography experience. Luckily the golf pros here are giving me a golf etiquette crash course as well as hooking me up with a course marshal on Sunday so I can get the flavor of an actual game.

Thanks, I had a great time, we had 18 pros, and over 100 vets participate. The PGA Hope charity raised over $10,000 today. All of the money stays in the Tucson area and benefits veterans! I took many group shots and included some action shots as well. We were able to piece together a long slide show for the participants to view during the banquette...
