I wondered if anyone else is having problems with Pixabay.
It has happened three times with me recently.
I can look through several pages of photographs, when suddenly, they start to vanish, and in their place come thick long black lines. Next thing, the screen goes blank, and there is nothing I can do, but turn off at the wall socket.
I leave it for a while, and when I start up again, all is back to normal.
I don't know if it is Pixabay, or my computer. It isn't happening anywhere else.

I just took a quick look at Pixabay and went through 12 pages. I didn't notice the problem you are experiencing, Margaret. I suspect it may be an issue at your end. You might try using a different browser to see if that makes a difference.

Never thought of that, Helen. I will try IE. Just one snag - I don't know when it is going to happen. And, no way am I staying on IE.

I'm not having a problem with Pixabay whippet. What browser do you use? Have you cleared it's cache recently, if not maybe that would help. I'm not knowledgeable enough to come up with another suggestion I'm afraid.

I use Firefox - have done so for years.
But, guess what has just happened!!! It has started on Pinterest now. Luckily, I got a screen shot this time.

I use Firefox whippet and haven't experienced this but I know that's no consolation to you. Did you try another browser to see if this happens there or if it's only when using Firefox?

It has started on Pinterest now. whippet, I am not sure this is the same situation but there have been reports of Firefox displaying horizontal black lines and, in some cases, even black squares. The suggestions to tackle this problem vary -- disable Hardware Acceleration, run Firefox in Safe Mode, disable a few add-ons, etc. Also, check your video card; it could be the culprit.

If this doesn't solve your problem, I suggest you post on the Mozilla Support forum.

Normal service has now been resumed. The tower had to go into the shop. Turns out that the driver needed upgrading. Firefox could not cope, nor would it install the upgrade. So, they have put Google Chrome on for me, and said that will handle anything.
I am just going to use Chrome when I visit sites like Pixabay.
