All of the submissions this week were exceptional. I felt like putting the names into a hat, and drawing out the ones needed. It would have been easier.
However, I got there eventually.
Tom. I don't know if the rock people were your own creation, but that is a really amazing photo. My all time favourite painting, is The Storm by William McTaggart. The more you look at it, the more details you see. Your photo has the same effect. blackmutt. I always admire the style of your images - Olde Worlde. Clive. As always, your birds - especially Canada geese - are exceptional. jackstrap. Peace and tranquility to perfection . . . where is it, I want to go.
I.O.W. deany. What can I say, except that I would love to see the lone cypress blown up to 3'x3', and hanging on my lounge wall. Breathtakingly beautiful.
Thank you to all of the members who put images into their galleries this week for me to see.

Welcome back IOW, although the title of the thread confused me for a while. I could have sworn we had gone into April... Lovely comments on a great selection, whippet, I can see that was tough to choose between. Congratulations all selected, all worthy and particularly deany.

Thanks,Alex. I edited the post. Time is flying isn't it, Margaret? I understand as I'm having a hard time realizing we're already into mid-April. I know what a struggle it is for you to come up with your IOW choices and I'm so glad to see that you have become more comfortable in the role as an IOW judge! Terrific selections and interesting commentary. Congratulations to Tom, Judy, Jacki, Clive and especially Dean. Magnificent tree; beautifully processed!
Now I'm off to find the painting you mentioned.

Sorry. This heat is frying my brain.
Helen. The Storm is a huge painting. On a photo, I can only pick out some of the details, even though I have seen the real thing, so know what to look for.

Congratulations to all the honorable mentions, and to deany for his IOW. This was a satisfying collection of images; thanks for your careful consideration whippet!
Thanks for noticing my rock people. The image was a selfie that was then passed through a filter that resulted in its effect.

Congrats to all the winners, honored to have my image included. As for where it was taken, a stretch of coastline along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road.
